polish program
“Polish is a means of assisting young people to succeed in any life pathway. It provides them with the tools to prepare and present themselves - in order to fulfill the dreams they dare to dream.” B Cooper
Polish is a dynamic one-day workshop designed to help young people prepare for the workforce through personal presentation and communication training. This interactive program provides students with the skills and knowledge to be able to conduct themselves appropriately when entering the workforce and throughout their career.
No matter what your education - winning the job of your dreams comes down to the overall image you present. Polish has been designed to give students ‘the edge’ in a competitive market place. The program boosts young people’s self confidence, giving them the tools to handle difficult and pressured situations like job interviews. Polish prepares students to make the best possible first impression.
Core components of the Polish Workshop include:
- Goal setting and success
- Confidence
- Employers expectations
- Mock interviews
- Presentation and grooming
- Personal hygiene
- Manners and etiquette
- Communication
- Body language and movement
- Personal and financial management
- Interactive luncheon with guests
Studio e work delivers Polish in partnership with a national not-for-profit, The Beacon Foundation (external link). Currently the program is being run in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania. Later this year Polish will make its international debut in the Cook Islands.
